AV SYSTEMS DESIGNER - DALLAS

The prospective employee will possess all the following qualifications and experience:

  • Applicant should have at least three years of experience as an Audio Visual Systems Designer in a contracting design/build or consultant environment, with responsibility/experience for preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Responsibilities include design of AV, Multi-media, and presentation display systems, development of power requirements, conduit configuration, heat loads, system design drawings (device locations on floor plans, functional diagrams, rack elevations, plate/panel details, specialized details, etc.). and specifications to company format.
  • Excellent communication skills interfacing with clients, engineers and other design team members.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced technology oriented environment.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel required.
  • CTS certifications highly desirable.
  • Experience with IPTV/RF distribution and/or other low voltage systems a benefit.
  • Modest AutoCad/Acad LT and Ease skills an asset but not required.
  • Experience/knowledge of Revit MEP is also desirable, but not required.
