JUNIOR / APPRENTICE SOUND SYSTEM DESIGNER - DALLAS

The prospective employee will possess all the following qualifications and experience:

  • Applicant should have at least three years of experience with Sound Systems either with an integration contracting firm or other area within the Pro Audio industry. A two-year college certificate/degree in audio or music production technology may also be considered as experience.
  • Responsibilities will include assisting in the design of audio and AV systems to project requirements, preparation of power requirements and configuration, system design drawings (device locations on floor plans, schematic functional diagrams, I/O plate, rack details, and loudspeaker configurations, etc.), and design specifications to company and/or project format.
  • Familiarity with audio and AV system installation practices commonly found in the construction industry will be highly beneficial in this role.
  • The ability to communicate, verbal and written, technical information effectively with clients, engineers and other design team members will be required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience with the EASE modeling program is highly desirable and modest AutoCad or REVIT skills are an asset, but not required.
